I am a Silversmith from the Bangor, Maine area and am just starting my own business, Riverside Jewelry Designs or www.riversidejewelrydesigns.com. It's frightening and exciting all at the same time. Things are finally starting to take off though, and I'm holding on to the reigns as tight as I can! Thanks, Deb for this great chance to network!
I am Deb Neuman's biggest fan (said in my best Kathy Bates "Misery" imitation...LOL!). But, seriously...who doesn't love "the Deb"??
Beyond stalking Deb, I am aiming for the "stress free life"...and doing pretty well at it. I am working for the Ronda & Bob Dalton at Central Maine Wireless in the Broadway Shopping Center. We are a U.S. Cellular Authorized Agent and what sets us apaprt from every other wireless company is that we specialize in relationships! You're not an account number, your YOU! We have the largest selection of wireless accessories around, some of the best prices, and we have THE BEST staff, hands down!! Come and see me, Erica, Kelsey, Abby, Bob or Ronda and experience the difference locally owned wireless can make in your business or personal life.
I hand craft dog biscuits using 95% locally sourced ingredients. Our packaging is completely compostable, including the cellophane bag inside the box, so you can rest assured that you are leaving a minimal impact on the Earth while giving your dog a wholesome snack! Be sure to check out www.barkwheats.com for more information.
Chris - creator of Barkwheats is featured on the Back To Business radio show this weekend! While making the show I ATE one of his biscuits on-air and it is DELICIOUS! Tastes like a chewy gingersnap ... if it's good enough for me - it's good enough for your dog!
Suddenly - I find fire hydrants very appealing!
Hi everyone! My name is Lisa Liberatore. I am the owner of Baxter Tea Company (www.baxtertea.com) It is an online tea store that specializes in gourmet tea and tea accessories. It is part of our mission to give 10% of loose tea profits to Baxter State Park. I am really excited to be a part of this networking group and look forward to meeting all of you!
Hello Everyone,
Thanks Deb for remembering my husband Bob and myself and inviting us to your cool site. Bob has a new job, so he doesn't help with the candles as much, but you might see him at a show or two this fall/winter.
I am a candle maker and wear every hat in my small business http://www.mainemadestuff.com . All my customers say my candles are the very best candles they have ever had. I sell online, in a few stores, out of my shop, at craft shows, and at the Fryeburg Fair in Expo 5 down by the animals.
I was born and brought up here in Maine and wouldn't live anywhere else.
Hello All! I am so glad to have found a site like this in Maine. I am actually a real 'Mainah' but have been living in Düsseldorf, Germany for the past 16 years. I have had such good experience with networking sites here in Europe and thought it would be a good idea to get some networking going in Maine as well. (Thanks to Drew for the connection.)
Apart from being a free-lance photographer, when I feel like it, I run a language school in Düsseldorf with my English partner. Although our company is called "sofortEnglisch," which means immediate-English, he also teaches German and Latvian as well. We do translating, interpreting, and language courses for companies, private people and for children. We deal mainly with Germans and because Düsseldorf is o.k.a "little Tokio" because of the many Japanese companies located here, a lot of our work has to do with cultural awareness. It's not only learning the language but how to put it the right way to get what you want.
I am thrilled to be a part of this network in my home state. I'm impressed with the information so far and I am looking forward to adding to the site as well as profiting from it.
Oh my gosh! How cool to have you here:) Welcome "home"...
I've just started the site and will be adding more info as we go - but this is really about getting like-minded and really cool people together! Love that!
You are doing great things - thanks for sharing that?!
.... I like your photo too!
Hi all, I'm the senior trade advisor for the Maine International Trade Center, a state agency that assists small and mid-sized companies in Maine with international trade questions. Right now I'm working on the Governor's trade mission to Canada coming up in November!
Deb and I have been friends for (gulp!) over 10 years, so if any of you want dirt, I can be bought! :)
